It sounds like that instructor was a bit &#039;special&#039;. hopefully there is another instructor at that studio who isn&#039;t like that... :) or if it&#039;s moksha, you might have some difficulty as I know they don&#039;t usually post the instructor&#039;s name who is teaching the class....

I tried going veggie and had to stop because of horrible stomach cramps. Later, I found out I&#039;m allergic to soy. Also tried the ayurvedic warm sesame oil massage for my vata dosha and ended up with itchy red skin. Yep, allergic to sesame seeds, too. I need to get around to blogging about my adventures. Can&#039;t wait to read more of your posts.</description>

Soy products are not necessarily healthier for you than those things, which are, as you imply, more in their original, unprocessed(hopefully) form. When you look at the list of ingredients for soy products, say, veggie bacon, most of that stuff is unrecognizable. A slab of steak, pure raw butter or milk? If it&#039;s good stuff, ya know where it came from.

BTW, I love the pairing of meat and yoga. Cool site.</description>

While vegetarian, I was also a runner and did some weight lifting, and I experienced constant muscle soreness and a depressed immune system.  It was as if I never fully recuperated from my workouts - I hurt all the time, and I got sick several times a year.
